Happy New Year! 2009 Maybe the Year of the Ox to many of us but for the New Zealand car buying, car selling or just plain car loving public (that’s you guys) its going to be the Year of the CarJammer.
January marked the introduction of the CarJammer as a registered user of the CarJam site – its FREE to join and there are immediate benefits:
- Get a $1 discount off all reports this can equate to as much as a 25% saving on the Basic facts report!
- Manages your previously purchased reports for all vehicles in your JamShed – which is your landing page when you login — essential for the regular user, private or licensed vehicle dealer or fleet operator
- Automatically adds the details of every car for which you purchase a report to your JamShed for easy access
- All purchased reports in your shed will have free and Basic facts automatically updated every time you review them from your JamShed. this means you can find out with a single click what’s the current status of all your cars
We will be bringing you a JamShed load of features in the future and will be listening for your feedback as to what you want to see.

There would obviously need to be a disclaimer emphasizing that such information is non-objective (and possibly misleading) but the experience of previous owners or say mechanics, might be invaluable to buyers of a particular car or similar type of vehicle.
Thank you Peter for your feedback and suggestions. CarJam is currently brewing a few new bits and pieces under the bonnet. Hopefully, they will go green at beginning of 2010.
