Environments

• test: https://test.carjam.co.nz/ - test data, free to use. The test site is protected with username: test and password: test.
• production (prod): https://www.carjam.co.nz/ - real data, not free.

Checklist

Start with the test environment.

1. Register as a Member: test, prod.
2. Apply for a Development Connection: test, prod. Please wait for us to approve. If nothing is happening for more than one business day please contact us
3. Generate API Key: test, prod.
4. Integrate the CARJAM APIs with your software.

Repeat the steps for the production environment.

Test Plates

Navigate to test plates to get test registration number plates.

Throttling

A Development Connection may make up to 30 API requests in any 10 second window. See throttling for what a throttled request looks like and how to pace bulk work.
