Price Variations
All vehicles valuations within our Dealers’ Guide product are said to be in “Guide Condition” (see above). Any variations may effect a vehicle’s value, and allowances should be made for these Listed below are the major factors affecting a vehicle’s value.
Condition: All vehicles are assumed to be in “Guide Condition” (see above). A vehicle that is in either substantially better or worse condition than outlined in this section, may require figures to be adjusted accordingly.
Kilometres: 14,000 km is assumes to be an average distance that most vehicles travel in any one year. Vehicles that travelled substantially more or less than 14,000 kilometres per year require figures to be adjusted. This is done automatically for the Dealers Guide valuations from CarJam.
Equipment Level: All vehicles are valued with standard features and do not include any optional extras. Optional extras can effect a vehicle’s value, therefore any extras above standard equipment levels may require figures to be adjusted.
Regional: A vehicle’s value can be affected by it’s geographical location. This can be due to the vehicle being sold in an environment that is foreign to its designed purpose, increased desirability in a specific area, or excess transport and relocation expenses. These factors may require a vehicle to be valued individually or adjusted according to the location and situation.

Car Jam are showing incorrect information for this vehicle. It is a Suzuki VL800/M50 (not a “VL 250”). The retail price when purchased 5 days ago was $16500+ORC + accessories, not $7360.
Warning – beware of Car Jam supplying other false information – R
Hi Russell,
In response to your email and post:
“Your information is totally INCORRECT.
The motorcycle is not a VL250 (I don’t think such a bike exists). It is a VL800/M50
The motorcycle has not done 9600 kms. It’s done 550 kms and has only been registered 5 days.
The retail value is $16500 + ORC as at last week (not $6900).
I think you need to get your act together and report true information.
Also get the information corrected immediately.
Meanwhile I will expect a refund of my $4-99 to my credit card for supplying incorrect false information. This would be appropriate
in terms of the Fair Trading Act 1986.”
I have a feeling you have keyed in the plate wrong as when I pull up this plate it shows the following:
–
Year: 2012
Make: SUZUKI
Model: VL800
–
Odometer Date
4 Km
2012-Aug-30
WOF Inspection
–
Date of Registration: 2012-Aug-28
– and the valuation is for a different model:
VL250 V TWIN
petrol; used import; 2 cylinders; V TWIN; was $7,345
$6,900
Hi im disagreeing with the valuation of this 1994 toyota celica gt4 st205 wrc, this is a highly rare and collectable edition that will become a classic very soon. The standard st205 gt4 has a market value of between $6500-$8000 so for this rare wrc model witch only 2500 were ever made i would have thought the value be much much higher than your small value. Could you shed some light on your valuation please?
Hi Chris – what is the plate? We generally don’t have vakluations for low volume models/sub-models. The value is based good conditions and no customisations (as its a generic valuation not for a specific plate)
PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH A VALUATION FOR MY SAAB -1995 AUTO CONVERTIBLE MODEL.900 S.HAD
