Why does a vehicle show "Money Owing" - as the finance is already paid off?

CarJam uses the data from the governments PPSR to check on money owing secured against plate, VIN, chassis number and all past plates.

This process is rigorous and can be relied on to check for any hidden finance to avoid your vehicle being repossessed.

You should not purchase a vehicle which is a registered security against money owing.

If you believe the registered security is incorrect you or the seller must contact the finance company showed in the Money Owing section of the report as only the finance company can remove it from the PPSR.
